	Counseling Services Blind and Low Vision Services of North Georgia now offers counseling services. If you or someone you know is having difficulty coping with vision loss, please call our office to speak with our counselor or consider joining one of our monthly support groups

	Support Group Blind and Low Vision Services sponsors one support group at this time:

	Cobb

	Purpose

	These support groups give participants the opportunity to share their vision loss experiences and feelings. The groups

	offer support to people who are adjusting to vision loss offer new ways to do everyday tasks provide educational programs discuss relevant issues, such as transportation, white cane awareness, and sidewalk development


	Participants

	Blind and Low Vision Services invites the following people to participate in the groups:

	anyone who is blind or visually impaired their family members their friends their drivers
	.Cobb support group - PRIDE (People Reaching Independence through Determination and Education)

	Location:	Blind and Low Vision Services 3830 South Cobb Drive, Suite 125, Smyrna
	Meeting dates: Time:	Third Friday of each month 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

	Transportation:	Volunteers are needed to drive participants to monthly meetings.
